農家さんの大切さ✨The Importance of Farmers.

先日は、藪塚のお客様の畑で作業をさせていただきました🙇🏻♀️
突然ですが、皆様は『食料安全保障』はご存知でしょうか🤔💭
食料安全保障とは、国民が常に良質な食料を安定に得られるようにすること。
国内における農作物の不作や輸入の途絶などの不測の事態が生じた場合であっても、人が生きる上で最低限必要とする食料の供給を安定的に確保することです。
安定的な食料供給のためには、海外からの安定的な輸入、日本国内の農地を有効に活用する、米づくりの活性化を促す、使われなかった水田を畑に変え飼料用トウモロコシを生産するなど、さまざまな対策が考えられます。
今後、世界の情勢の変化に応じられるような農業生産がより求められるかもしれません。
日本における食料安全保障政策とは、国内生産の増大を図ることを基本に、輸入および備蓄を適切に組み合わせることで、その確保を図ることです。
昨今、世界的な食料情勢や気候変動、地政学リスクの高まりなど、農業を取り巻く課題が大きく変化しています。
日本の食料安全保障は、農業生産者の減少・農地の減少や、肥料・飼料の海外依存・価格高騰、燃料の高騰、地球温暖化・環境変化による影響（栽培適地の変化・災害発生）、高い海外依存度（低い食料自給率）、円安等による購買力の低下（買い負け）などの問題点もあります。
いつも農家さんへの感謝を忘れてはいませんが、食料安全保障のことを調べていると勉強にもなり、改めて農家さんは大切な存在だと感じました。

Suddenly, have you ever heard of “food security”? 🤔💭
Food security means ensuring that people always have stable access to high-quality food. It involves securing a stable food supply even in unexpected situations, such as poor domestic harvests or disruptions in imports, so that everyone can obtain the minimum necessary food for survival.
To ensure a stable food supply, various measures can be considered, such as securing stable imports from overseas, effectively utilizing farmland in Japan, promoting rice cultivation, and converting unused rice paddies into fields for producing feed corn.
In the future, agricultural production that can adapt to global changes may become even more essential.
Japan’s food security policy is based on increasing domestic production while appropriately combining imports and stockpiling to ensure a stable food supply.
Recently, global food conditions, climate change, and rising geopolitical risks have significantly altered the challenges surrounding agriculture.
Japan’s food security faces several issues, including the decline in the number of farmers and farmland, dependency on imported fertilizers and feed along with soaring prices, rising fuel costs, the impact of global warming and environmental changes (such as shifts in suitable cultivation areas and the occurrence of natural disasters), a high reliance on imports (low food self-sufficiency rate), and the weakening purchasing power due to yen depreciation (leading to losing out in global food procurement).
I always appreciate farmers, but researching food security has deepened my understanding and made me realize once again how invaluable they are.
