Visited a green onion field in Maebashi.
The crop has finished beautifully, reaching a solid 3L size—thick, uniform, and standing straight with an impressive appearance.
The moment we hear, “These are good onions,” is always the most rewarding.
After the New Year, lower temperatures slow vegetative growth, but quality becomes more stable. This makes shipment pacing and timing especially critical.
By monitoring field days and size standards, we are maintaining a steady shipping rhythm of five days per week.
To avoid over-sizing and delayed harvesting, we are intentionally moving slightly ahead of schedule this season.
Just like the market, green onions shouldn’t be left in the field for too long.
