マツバギク🌼Matsuba-giku．

先日、お客様の畑に行って参りました🛻
マツバギクが咲いていたので、写真を撮らせていただきました📸
マツバギクは、葉が「松の葉」のように細長く、花が「菊」のような形 なので「松葉菊」という名前のようです🌼
多肉植物の一種で、乾燥や暑さにとても強く、日光を浴びて開花し、夜や曇りでは閉じるそうです。
地面を這うように広がるので、グランドカバー（地被植物）にも最適です✨
ピンクや、紫色のマツバギクしか見たことがないのですが、白や、オレンジ色のマツバギクもあるそうなので、見てみたいなと思いました😊
花言葉は、〝ゆったりとした気分″、〝怠け者の幸福″です。
花が太陽の光で開くことから、のんびりな感じや、気ままさが連想されるようです🤭
花言葉も、その理由もなんだか可愛らしいですね🥰
The name “Matsuba-giku” (meaning “pine-leaf chrysanthemum” in Japanese) comes from its appearance — it has slender leaves like pine needles and flowers that resemble chrysanthemums. 🌼
It’s a type of succulent, very tolerant of heat and dryness. The flowers bloom in sunlight and close at night or on cloudy days.
Since it spreads low along the ground, it’s also perfect as a ground cover plant. ✨
Its flower language includes “a relaxed feeling” and “the happiness of a lazy person.”
Because the flowers open only under the sun, they’re associated with a laid-back, carefree vibe. 🤭
